Advania has appointed Errol Norlum as Chief AI Officer, strengthening Group level leadership as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly central to both Advania’s customer offering and its own development. Norlum joins Advania’s Group Executive Management team and takes up the role on 1 October 2026.
From AI specialist to Group leadership
Norlum is one of Sweden’s most recognised AI and technology leaders. Before joining Advania, he founded The AI Framework, the specialist AI company acquired by Advania in 2025. Earlier in his career, he was Head of AI at H&M Group, where he built an AI organisation of more than 150 specialists and helped integrate AI into the company’s core business.
Since joining Advania, Norlum has led the AI organisation in Sweden, Advania’s largest market, and played a central role in developing the Group’s AI capabilities, including Advania ALT, the sovereign AI platform launched across Advania’s markets in 2026.

Scaling AI across Advania
Artificial intelligence is one of Advania’s three strategic growth areas, alongside Cyber Resilience and Total Lifecycle Management. Over the past two years, Advania has expanded its AI capabilities through acquisitions, investment in sovereign AI infrastructure and the development of Advania ALT. The appointment of a Chief AI Officer marks the next stage, with clearer Group level responsibility for connecting those capabilities and bringing successful approaches from one market to customers across the Group.
As Chief AI Officer, Norlum will be responsible for the commercial strategy and direction of Advania’s AI offering, including the continued development of Advania ALT and the broader Data and AI practice. He will work closely with AI leaders and country management teams across Advania to develop shared offerings, strengthen strategic technology partnerships and support larger customer opportunities across markets.
