Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

The Advania Community (the “Community”) is an online space provided exclusively for clients and partners of Advania UK and authorised users to collaborate and to share knowledge and insights provided by Advania UK and industry experts.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs participation within the Community and establishes expectations for appropriate use. By accessing or participating in the Community, you agree to comply with this AUP and our Terms of Use.

Acceptable Use

Permitted use of the Community includes, but is not limited to:

• Using the Community for business-related collaboration
• Engaging in respectful, professional and constructive dialogue.
• Sharing knowledge, experiences and best practice information relating to Advania UK’s products and services as well as insights and topical subject matter provided by Advania UK and industry experts.
• Offering support, resources, and helpful insights to other Community users

Prohibited Use

Users must not engage in any of the following activities:

1. Harassment, Discrimination, or Abuse

• • Do not engage in threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory or discriminatory behaviour.
  • Do not post content that is offensive, obscene, or is an abuse of the rights or dignity of others.

2. Unauthorized Promotion or Spam

• • Do not advertise or promote products, services, or events without Advania UK’s prior written consent
  • Do not send Community users unsolicited messages (“spam”) containing ads, promotions, or irrelevant links.
  • The scraping of Community content or the harvesting of data is prohibited.

3. Breaching confidentiality or intellectual property rights

• • Do not share your proprietary, confidential or sensitive information or that which belongs to any third party.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not post content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or trade secrets or other rights of third parties.

4. Illegal or Unethical Activities

• • Do not engage in or promote illegal or unlawful activities.
  • Do not post content that promotes violence, self-harm, or unsafe practices.
  • Do not use the Community to facilitate fraud, deception, or any form of malicious behaviour.

5. Misuse of the Community

• • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Community
  • Do not disrupt or interfere with the functionality, security, or integrity of the Community or attempt to do so.
  • Do not impersonate other people or misrepresent yourself.

Enforcing the AUP

Advania UK reserves the right to monitor user activity in the Community and to enforce this AUP at its sole discretion. A breach of this AUP may result in Advania UK taking the following actions including, but not limited to:

• A formal warning.
• Removal of content.
• Suspension from the Community.
• Termination of access to the Community
• Referral to appropriate authorities where required.

Updates to this AUP

Advania UK may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Community following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
