Ian brings over thirty years of leadership experience across the UK and European IT VAR industry, with a proven track record of building high‑performing teams and delivering predictable, sustainable growth. He’s known for his people‑focused leadership style and his ability to bring clarity, momentum and direction to the organisations he works with.

He has held senior roles at Softcat, Computacenter and SHI, as well as sales roles with vendors including Hitachi Data Systems, Sun Microsystems and ICL. Throughout his career, Ian has helped teams strengthen their customer focus, raise performance and grow in a scalable, sustainable way. His approach is grounded in developing talent, improving how teams work together, and creating an environment where people feel supported and empowered to do their best work.

Outside of work, Ian lives in Warwickshire with his wife and is a proud dad to three grown‑up sons. He’s a keen golfer, dog lover, and a regular at live music gigs, with a long‑standing interest in self‑development based on positive psychology.
